Nature is what We see - The Hill - the Afternoon - Squirrel - Eclipse - the Bumble bee - Nay - Nature is Heaven - Nature is what We hear - The Bobolink - the Sea - Thunder - the Cricket - Nay - Nature is Harmony - Nature is what We know - But have no Art to say - So impotent our Wisdom is - To Her Sincerity.
(“Nature is what we see” by Emily Dickinson)
The history of this incredible place is well told by the temple of the "Santa Casa" (dating back to 800 AD) among the frescoes of the Giottesca school, the largest ex-voto in Europe (dated early 1600) and the appearance of that Star which decreed the end of a terrible battle involving Tignale in 1200.
The beauty is about the nature that surrounds the Hermitage: the blues of Lake Garda, the greens of the woods and mountains, the red-purple and pink of the sunrises and sunsets. Every detail is a work of art.
The restoration carried out to repair the damage of time has given back splendour to the external structure and the premises: the restaurant room and the panoramic terrace, the rooms with view and bathroom. The stay at the Hermitage will be an unforgettable experience in every single respect.
